Find My Team welcomes Yevette Angel, a New York Life Insurance agent, former college athlete and former college women’s basketball coach, to talk about options to help fund a college education.  This is a free webinar hosted by Find My Team.  

As a New York Life Insurance agent, Yevette’s approach is to help her clients understand their options and achieve their goals using a personalized approach. Her expertise is in the area of insurance and financial needs, including college funding, retirement, managing costs for extended periods of care and lifetime income strategies.

Yevette played college basketball at The Ohio State University and went on to receive her Masters at Michigan State University. While at Ohio State, Yevette was a star point guard earning multiple awards and helping her team compile multiple trips to the NCAA tournament.  Though she is still prominent in the record books at Ohio State, her biggest memories are those with her teammates. 

“I grew up in the city of Buffalo (New York) and had the opportunity to see the world and follow my passion and my dreams athletically and academically. I hope I can give back to the community. It’s great to be an athlete.”

Yevette also play for the Sacramento Monarchs of the WNBA and coached for the same team when her playing days were over. She also coached at the college level as an assistant at Notre Dame. Yevette also has experience coaching high school basketball both in California and in New York.  

We will discuss the following topics with Yevette:

1.  Basics of college scholarships.

2.  Tips for funding a college education.

3.  How to find sources of financial aid outside of athletic scholarships.

What are ways to help fund your child’s college experience? What costs should parents expect and not expect when it comes to expenses for college? What can a college scholarship offer? Does it cover everything? These and many more questions will be answered at this webinar.
